Jackie: Mom, how old are you?Me: I am 32.
Jackie: (very seriously) Oh, you are old. ( pauses) Oh Mummy, you are ACTUALLY VERY old. (thenin a tone of a doctor communicating a terminal diagnosis) You are definately close to being a grandma!
Me: Yeah, when will I be a grandma?
Jackie: When I am 8, and a teenager, you will be a grandma.
Not sure she has truly grasped the concept, at least I hope she is not planning to be an unwed mother at the age of 8. That would have to be some kind of record.
