Primary Romances

We had our primary presentation on Sunday. My parents and my sister Anne came to watch. Anne and I had fun watching all the kids. I wished Alice's part was at the beginning so I didn't have to watch her look so nervous for so long - but then after she did her part I got to watch her look all giggly and irreverent, so I guess it was ok afterall.

After church at lunch I was telling the girls some of the things Anne thought of the kids she saw.

Me: Jackie, Anne thinks that if it doesn't work out with Logan, you should totally marry Blake.

Jackie's eyes got red. She was starting to cry.

Me: Jackie, what is the matter?

Andrew: Don't worry Jackie, I am sure everything will work out with Logan.

Jackie (wiping her eyes): yeah, good.


Her love for Logan is real - how silly of us to think anything different. It is a good thing, since in telling this story afterward I learned that Blake has already proposed to another little girl in the primary - though she has just moved to another ward, so we will see how long that lasts. Also, it should be noted that Whitney, Blake's 5 year old sister is VERY in love with Logan, so Jackie has competition. So far, Logan's heart belongs to Jackie though. Let's hope that his feelings lasts at least as long as Jackie's, or her heart will be broken.

We started talking about who Alice should go for ( of course she didn't like this conversation too much, be she was a good sport). I mentioned a kid, and she said, 'No, he's Emma's".

Is the entire primary paired off? No - apparently Emma's sisters just thinks she should marry Ted. Chloe is going to marry Jeff. Alice on the other hand is pretty sure she won't marry anyone from the ward. That's a long way off afterall.
