Calaway Park

Last week we got to take a break from the renovations long enough to go to Calaway Park with some good friends. We didn't make it there last year, so the kids were super excited to go. It was a beautiful summer day and the kids had so much fun. I was just glad I was able to keep it together on all the rides I had to go one. Jackie and Elijah waiting in line. Jackie is tall enough to go on more rides than she is brave enough to go on - which was fine by me, since she mostly needs an adult to ride with.

Eve was to young to remember the Calaway park, so this was her first time. She kept forgetting the name and calling it, "the big girl park".

Hannah, Alice, Jackie, Elijah and Eve in the Berry Go Round. We went so fast - and we were joking about throwing up the whole time. When we got out, we found out that while we were joking about puke, the people in the berry next to us were living it. Yuk!


Alice, Jackie and Hannah went on the log ride by themselves for the first time. What big girls we have! And I didn't have to get wet. Thanks Christy, Hannah and Elijah for a great day! It completed our summer and now we are ready for school (well at least I am).
