When my sister-in-law Karen says" I love you" to her two year old daughter Audrey, she always answers right back, " I love candy ". My two year old Eve, however, doesn't usually say anything at all - until this morning. Today when I said," I Love You" as I was changing her diaper she answered back, slowly, with a pause between each word, " I.... love.... Mommy".
It was so great that I said it again, and then she said it again, and I said it again, and the she said it again. We'll be loving each other all morning. You have milk these moments for all their worth.
So what about this lovely change. Maybe she was paying attention to Elder Bednar's talk on Saturday morning. (unlikely)
Or she has always loved me and now can finally say it. (Yes.. that's it)
Anyway - it was a a nice warm fuzzy on a cold dreary Monday morning.
