- I procrastinate and I probably am only doing this because I should be doing something else.
- I have three little girls who make me laugh everyday.
- I have a goal to learn to like running again. My new i-pod is helping with that.
- When I am out for a run or a walk by myself I often catch myself talking out loud - not to myself really - just reenacting conversations, or thinking of potential conversations. I only catch myself just after I pass someone and realize that I most certainly look mentally ill.
- I started a blog last year and am surprised at how much I enjoy posting on it even if hardly anyone reads it. It makes my kids feel like superstars.
- I am a horrible speller and the worse proof reader ever. I read my blog posts through carefully before publishing them and still have to go back an edit mistakes over and over. There will probably be many mistakes in this note.
- I have a psych degree, and still enjoy reading psychology books and like to think that someday I may use that degree more than I currently do.
- I work in Human Resources and started my career with the provincial government. I worked there for5 years and learned all about bureaucracies.
- I like to get a laugh and enjoy being funny when teaching classes and giving talks - but I always feel guilty at church when someone tells me they enjoyed my talk and that I was funny. I figure I should be more pious.
- I love stories and story telling. I have written some children's stories that my kids like to hear and I enjoy telling all kinds of stories, even if the story is about an embarrassing mistake I have made. When there is a choice between telling a funny story or not having people know the stupid thing I did, I always choose to tell the story.
- I have a loud voice and contrary to popular belief I do try to control it. There was a time when I worked for the government that I shared a fake cubicle wall with the HR Director. I put sticky notes all over my desk to remind me to talk quietly. She could still hear me on occasion - but she didn't realize that I could hear her most of the time. Handy.
- The closest calling I have ever had to working in primary is being in nursery, where I am serving right now. I think I am not reverent enough for primary.
- I like to get paid, so even though the work I do from home is mostly boring, I love it.
- I love to laugh and when I do, I cry and my noes runs. I am guilty of laughing at my own jokes.
- I love book club, because when I read a good book it drives me crazy not to talk about it with someone. I love to get different perspectives.
- I am not that tidy a person, but I must have my bed made. It drives me crazy when it is not, especially when I have been up super early with the kids or working and my husband has slept in. You sleep late you make the bed. I will make my bed even if I am just about to go to sleep.
- My favourite housekeeping job is cooking, followed by grocery shopping, which is really about anticipating the possibilities of cooking.
- I hate doing laundry and I iron as little as possible.
- I am am an optimist and I get excited about things. I love revving my kids up to hysteria for each holiday or event.
- I am indecisive - especially about buying presents. 1/2 of the time I decide to not buy it and put it off till later. The other 1/4 of the time I buy multiple things and decide later and the rest of the time I make a choice, buy it and take it back when I have changed my mind. I believe it would be next to impossible for me to finish Christmas shopping early. Without a looming deadline, I would never decide.
- I used to think I had a great memory and I used as proof my ability to remember TV show theme song lyrics. I now have a horrible memory. I could blame three brain shrinking pregnancies, but I choose to blame the theme song lyrics that are stuck in my head. If I didn't have the words to the Facts of Life and Family Ties taking up space I would have had room to remember to bring the nursery snack schedule on Sunday.
- I am very good at generating different ideas and possibilities. I think of things especially at night and can't sleep.
- I hate buying shoes because nothing ever fits. Wide toes, narrow heels, high instep. Basically, my feet I trying to be spheres.
- I have 10 grey hairs I think - which is more than my mother who is in her 50s. Not fair, I blame the genes from my father. Those genes also gave me diabetes.
- I love my family and friends, even though I am a horrible correspondent. Another good reason to do this note. - and this blog!

I loved reading this!! I red it yesterday on Face book. You are so good at writing!! I was laughing at so many parts - talking aloud, shrinking brain, being loud and writing yourself post-it notes - hahaha!! I could totally relate. I would love to read the story that you wrote. And if you ever need someone to draw the pictures for you I would love too!! Seriously!
