Eve said to me this morning, "Mom, I can't read" like she had just noticed, and was disappointed. "But, I can talk, so that's good".

She does however, like to pretend to read, and will spend a lot of time a church during the sacrament, "reading" her pictureless Book of Mormon. She is quite convincing.

In other news, we had the primary presentation on Sunday and the girls all did great. I only made a couple of mistakes conducting the music, and never once forgot to get the kids to stand up. Eve's favourite song in the presentation was "Praise to the Man". She loves the "fight him in vain" part.

Jackie and Alice were all cool and collected giving their parts. Eve's part was, " I am grateful Jesus created flowlers for me". No - that's not a typo, that is how she says flowers.

I had planned a fun singing time for after the presentation, because the kids had all worked so hard. We sang nothing but requests - but so many of the songs the kids wanted to sing were the ones we had in the presentation. I guess they still were not sick of them.

AWESOME!!!!!! I wish we could have seen it! We still need to skype! I'm interning at CBC and was at the taping of "Cover Me Canada" on Sunday. This week sometime? Or this weekend? Or perhaps before the kids go trick or treating on Monday? Let us know! We'd love to catch up!
