Best Friends

Alice, looking so serious in the above picture, has some really great friends. Since we had a photo shoot party we have some cute pictures of each of them.
Chloe and Alice - Friends since they were 3. Chloe's mom Jenny is my best friend. Chloe's dad Jeff is Andrew's best friend. Chloe's brother Logan is Jackie's "boyfriend"and Chloe's little sister Chelsa is Eve's best friend. It is safe to say Chloe and Alice will be friends forever! A few weeks ago we were at the Romerils for dinner. Alice and Chloe were in Chloe's room. I went in to call the girls for dinner. When I opened the door Alice and Chloe both jumped. They told me they had been telling secrets. It is great to have a friend to tell secrets too. I love to listen to them talk and giggle together. Everything is so fun when you can share it with a friend. This year, they playing soccer together too.
Gracie - Alice's best friend at school. With 4 grade three classes in Alice's school, Alice's friends change from year to year, and I am really not that good at organizing play dates with them. We have so many other friends that live close by. Last year we didn't even invite any school friends to her party, but Alice begged for Gracie to be invited and I am glad we did ( even though it meant that Jackie and Alice had to share a seatbelt). Gracie provided delightful glimpses into Alice grade three world. Like me, she is pretty sure that Alice likes Jake and Jake likes Alice unlike me she does not realize that Alice would probably die before admitting that even to herself. She liked hearing the story of Jake yelling to Alice 'I love you" as they left the bus stop the first week of kindergarten

Alice and Emma have been friends since they were 3. Emma is Alice's first friend to get braces and only friend with teenage siblings. She is wise to the world and has introduced Alice to the wonders of Edo and contributed to Alice's hatred of MacDonalds. Emma went without candy and chocolate for a whole year to earn 250 dollars. She finished her "candy deal" around Easter, then two days later she got her braces on and was told she couldn't eat hard candy or chewy candy. She figured she might as well go back on the candy deal and get some money out of it. Alice doesn't think 250 dollars is worth no halloween candy, but she is impressed with Emma's fortitude and gave Emma all the potato ships she got from the trunk or treat.
Alice and Robin were in the same kindergarten class. Robin transferred to an English school, but they have stayed in touch because Robin is so sweet and lives JUST AROUND THE CORNER! It is magic having a friend in walking distance. I was worried that Robin might not like the model party since she is shy but her mother assured me she had a terrific time.
Alice and Jessica. Jessica is 11 months older than Alice as such she is the cool older cousin. Alice loves the month they are the same age. Alice wants to grow her hair as long as Jessie's and she loves that they both speak french. Jessica is terrific fun and after a full days play date complete with a sleepover, she is still sad when it is time to go. She is lucky to have such great cousins close by.
