A song for the season

Alice is already into Christmas music, and puts on her favourite Christmas songs when she comes home from school, but Jackie has a new favourite Halloween song she learned at preschool. I'm sure you know it:

One little, two little, three little witches
Fly over haystacks, fly over ditches
Slide down the moon and tear their bitches
Hi, Ho, Halloween's hear.

No - the "bitches" is not a typo. That's how she sang it. I tried to correct her, but she said," No mom, you are wrong, it is bitches and it means pants". She would not believe me. It didn't help that Andrew to her side ( because he thought it was funny). Alice finally persuaded her to listen, since she believed me when I said that bitches was a bad word. This is why I will never do home schooling.

In her defense, one of the reason Witches are witches is because they do have a tendency to be unkind to their help staff, also known as their 'bitches.' If I had supernatural powers I may be prone to tear some of my bitches too, especially while sliding down moons.
