A benefit of sisterhood

This summer, Alice and Jackie have had lots of time to play together. We made a conscious effort to minimize play dates so that they would have time together as sisters before Alice is away ALL DAY LONG in grade one. It has been great, their friendship has soared to new heights (giggling all night like they are having a slumber party) and sunk to new lows (Jackie has developed a nasty slap when she is tired on not getting her way). It is not perfect - but it is beautiful. I am grateful for my three gorgeous sisters who have made and continue to make my life rich. Sisters are something special.
